About Fiona

Fiona has always specialized in making people smile for a living.

She leads an adventurous life, she has been exploring Donegal's coastline and Islands for a lifetime.

Her family have strong connections with the North West of Ireland, Gola, Arranmore, Tory and Owey Islands in particular.

This has given her the insight into creating a collection of outdoor tours and experiences to give people happy memories that will be etched in your minds forever.

Guided tour to & around Gola Island (Oileán Ghabhla)

Step abord Saba's ferry at Magheragallon pier, on the 10min ocean crossing, you'll learn about the surrounding Islands & the history the coast of Gweedore holds.

On Gola island, you'll be guided around some off road trails and paths, walking between 5km & 8km. Distance and terrain can be altered to suit your needs. Listen out for the Corncrake, an endangered migratory bird who is thriving on the island.

There will be a stop for Tea & homemade scones at the quaint Eddie Joe's Síopa Beag half way.

(Round Harbour) Oileán Ghabhla

Boat trip & guided walk of Owey Island (Oileán Uaigh)
with possible option of visiting the lake under the lake and a dip in the ocean

A boat will bridge the divide between mainland and island, enjoy this exciting trip from Burtonport or Cruit Island Piers, look out for Seals, Dolphins and Jellyfish . 

The Owey guided walk is aprox 5km of sensational views. 

For those able, agile and unafraid of very tight, steep spaces, there is a possible option of visiting the 'Lake under the Lake'.

Bring your own packed lunch, all weather gear, hiking boots or trail runners, optional swim wear, towel & a change of clothes and sunshine!

Tory Island boat trip
& guided walk
(Oileán Thoraigh)

Tory Island, is the most remote inhabited Island off the cast of Donegal.

This Island is enriched with a history of Kings, Monks and Artists.  It sits on the most North Westerly point of Europe, 16km off the coast of Donegal, Ireland. 

This Round Tower, An Cloigtheach (bell tower) is the last of its kind in Co Donegal, this historic monument was built from granite, at the beginning of Christianity in Ireland,  in the 6th or 7th century.
